TANNER'S YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY is an integral part of the Richard Allen Young Adult Council of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Under the dedicated leadership of Rev. Quantá Crews, Associate Minister at Tanner, our ministry is tailored for individuals aged 18 to 40 who are eager to connect, grow, and thrive within their faith community.
At Tanner's Young Adult Ministry, we are passionate about fostering a vibrant spiritual environment that supports both personal and communal growth. Our ministry is bustling with activities designed to cater to a diverse range of interests and spiritual needs.
Our ANNUAL DAY is a highlight of the year—a celebratory event that brings together the young adults of our community in worship, reflection, and joyous fellowship. It's a perfect opportunity to deepen your faith and build lasting relationships within the church family.
We also offer a series of workshops throughout the year that focus on relevant topics such as leadership development, spiritual disciplines, and practical life skills, all from a Christian perspective. These workshops are designed to empower you in all facets of life, from your personal growth to your professional endeavors.
BRUNCH & BLESSINGS provides an opportunity for the Young Adults of Tanner to gather together after service for a meal and fellowship every 3rd Sunday after service at different locations each month.
Don’t miss out on our other exciting outings! Whether it's a retreat, a service project, or just a fun day out, these events are fantastic ways to connect with peers and make meaningful memories.

YOUNG ADULT BIBLE STUDY
Join us for our enriching Bible studies, where we dive deep into the scriptures, uncovering timeless wisdom and applying it to our modern lives.
Bible study is held Wednesdays @ 7pm via ZOOM.
Our YOUNG ADULT CHURCH SCHOOL offers another layer of learning, providing insights into Christian doctrines and teachings through engaging discussions and fellowship.
Young Adult Church School is held on Sundays at 8:30am via ZOOM.

TANNER'S YOUNG ADULT CHOIR, is a spirit-filled choir of Tanner's music department, designed for individuals aged 18 and over. Under the expert direction of Dr. Jerome K. Garrison Sr., Tanner's esteemed Minister of Music, this choir offers a dynamic platform for young adults to express their faith through music.
As one of the eight choirs within Tanner's music department, this choir stands out for its dynamic, fresh, lively, energetic, and contemporary approach to spiritual music. The choir provides a wonderful opportunity for members to participate in a variety of musical genres that inspire and uplift both singers and listeners alike.
Whether you're a seasoned vocalist or new to choir, Tanner's Young Adult Choir welcomes all who are passionate about music and looking to join a community of like-minded individuals. The choir participates in regular Sunday worship services, special church events, and community gatherings, offering members a chance to showcase their talents and contribute to the church's vibrant musical legacy.
