Directions for Completing the Slate of Officers Nomination Form
Important Information
- Election Deadline: Elections must be held by August 31st of each year.
- Officiating Requirements: The election must be officiated by the Pastor or a designated associate minister to be valid.
- Scheduling Elections: Elections are scheduled on the Pastor's calendar according to his availability.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Contact Information:
Fill in your contact information in the designated section of the form.
2. Organization Name:
Indicate the name of the organization you are nominating officers for. Only the following organizations are required to hold elections:
- Care Leader Council
- Choirs
- Church School
- Lay Organization
- Stewardess Board
- Women's Missionary Society
- Young Adult Ministry
- Young People's Division
3. Election Date and Time:
Provide your preferred date and time option for when you would like the election to be held.
4. Nominee Information:
There are 15 slots available on the form with two nominees. You don't have to use them all. For each slot you use, write in the office/position name and the nominee(s).
5. Nomination Committee:
At the end of the form, list the members of the nomination committee along with their contact information.
6. Submission:
Submit the completed form for processing.
After Submission
Once the Slate of Officers Nomination form is received and scheduled on the Pastor's calendar, an email will be sent confirming the election date and the name of the officiant if it is not the Pastor.
