138th Session of the Desert Mountain Annual Conference

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

It is with great joy and boundless excitement that we, the officers and members of Historic Tanner Chapel A.M.E. Church, extend a warm welcome to all attendees of the 138th Session of the Desert Mountain Annual Conference. As the host church for this auspicious occasion, we are blessed to have you join us from September 25th through the 28th, 2024.

Under the esteemed leadership of our Pastor and Senior Minister, Rev. Dr. Benjamin N. Thomas Sr., and with the diligent support of our host Presiding Elder, Rev. E. Teresa Nelson of the AZ | NM District, alongside the co-host Presiding Elder, Rev. Sheriolynn Curry Hodge of the Rocky Mountain District, we are poised for a time of spiritual renewal, fellowship, and divine guidance.

Our gathering will be held at the splendid Marriott Phoenix Chandler, conveniently located at 1600 South Price Road, Chandler, Arizona. This venue offers excellent accommodations with a special room rate of $189 per night plus taxes and fees.

Though this rate is a bit higher than usual, please note that parking at the hotel is completely free. Additionally, the hotel is a mere 17 miles from Sky Harbor Airport and just minutes from the Chandler Fashion Center, which boasts a variety of shops and eateries for your enjoyment.

Your registration for the conference includes two hearty breakfasts and two lunches, ensuring that your physical nourishment is well taken care of while your spirit is fed during the conference workshops, sessions, and worship services.
